The Underdogs of HSNEGA
There is a famous saying that everybody loves an underdog!
Meet the four underdogs of the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia (HSNEGA)!! These four pups have been waiting extra patiently to find their FURever homes.
Buzz
Buzz has been at HSNEGA since January 2020 and has become an HSNEGA legend! He is mostly known for his hilarious love of rubber chickens. If you ask any volunteer, each and everyone one of them has a plethora of different stories and fun facts about their favorite 2-year-old Retriever mix.

“I love Buzz and if I were in a home with a big fence and no other dogs, I would take him. I think he would be very, very loyal to his chosen person. He needs a person who can stimulate his brilliant mind, continue to work on commands and is ready to give him the attention he deserves.”

Buzz is dreaming of a home where he will be his FURever families one and only. He’s got a lot of love to give and hopes for it in return. He’d love someone to teach him lots of fun tricks, go on hikes with and provide an endless supply of rubber chickens, of course.
Jolene
Jolene is a medium-sized dog with a large personality! Her hobbies include chasing toys, splashing in the dog pools and spending time in the great outdoors. Jolene has been with HSNEGA since July 2020 and in that time the volunteers have fallen in love with this 3-year-old Beagle/Hound mix. They often talk about her hilarious antics such as pulling all of her toys out of the toy chest when it’s time to stop playing. For Jolene, the fun never ends!

Her dream home is one with plenty of toys and FURtastic friends to play with.
Stella
The only thing softer than Stella’s fur is her delightful disposition. This 3-year-old Terrier mix has been at HSNEGA since early September but for the volunteers, they feel like they have known her forever. Judging by the way she wiggles in excitement seeing them, it would be easy to say the feeling is mutual!

Stella would love a home where she can run and play with her family but then cuddle with them right after!
Rutger
A purveyor of belly rubs and snuggles, Rutger knows the best way to spend a day is in the sun and with a friend to cuddle. This 3-year-old Terrier mix has been at HSNEGA for almost 2 months and is looking for a FURever home with a cozy fire and a companion to snuggle with really all year long.

Meet the Underdogs of HSNEGA at HSNEGA’s Adoption Center located at 845 West Ridge Road in Gainesville GA Tuesday-Sunday 12-6 pm.
