NEW: Foster Sleepover Program AKA Slumber PAWties
The Humane Society of Northeast Georgia (HSNEGA) has introduced a new Foster Sleepover Program AKA Slumber PAWties!
According to a study done by Maddie’s Fund, a dog’s cortisol levels, a hormone that regulates stress, significantly dropped with just one overnight foster stay. This benefit alone can greatly increase the “adoptability” of rescues.
Slumber PAWties will not only give rescues a break from the shelter but also the potential at finding a new home.
For further information or questions, please contact HSNEGA’s Foster Coordinator at 770-532-6617 ext. 230 or Foster@HSNEGA.org.
If you are new to the foster program, the Department of Agriculture requires HSNEGA to perform a home inspection.
Give with Confidence
At HSNEGA, we want to remember the amazing rescues that come to stay with us. All of the animals pictured on this site have been with us at some point. Some have already found their forever homes, but some may still be here at HSNEGA!
