Community Cat Program

Community cats, sometimes called free-roaming or feral cats are common in our community.

In order to continue striving toward no-kill, community cats are spayed/neutered and returned to the location where they were found.

The Community Cat Program is a collaboration between Hall County Animal Services (HCAS), Best Friends Animal Society and the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia (HSNEGA) along with other community organizations.

At HSNEGA, we want to remember the amazing rescues that come to stay with us. All of the animals pictured on this site have been with us at some point. Some have already found their forever homes, but some may still be here at HSNEGA!
