Unfortunately, this is the sad reality many of our rescues face each day. That is, until now…
Introducing the Saint Francis Bark Park!
Thanks to YOUR support, HSNEGA was able to build a FURtastic new yard for the rescues to run and stretch their legs in.
These interactions have been proven to help lower a rescue’s stress while in a shelter environment by providing them with an opportunity to play and socialize so that they can not only live their healthiest, but their HAPPIEST lives at HSNEGA.
Just 30-minutes in a canine playgroup is equivalent to a 2-hour walk. That’s a lot of exercise for the rescues!
Playgroups, like the one photographed above, are also fantastic for dogs who, much like humans, are social creatures and crave interacting with other rescues.
