Meet Your Soul MEOWt

The Humane Society of Northeast Georgia’s (HSNEGA) longest-tenured felines are looking for YOU, their soul MEOWt!

ADOPTED: Bucky, Male, 4 years old

“When you visit me, you may not see me immediately, I like to stay out of the hustle and bustle. Don’t worry though, I am there, hoping to make a new friend! You’ll find me hanging out under my Kuranda bed. just because I am a little shy that doesn’t mean I don’t love to explore my surroundings and meet new people! Ask to meet me and see what a PURRfect feline friend I can be!”

Brook Trout, Female, 2 years old
“Aren’t I FURbulous!? Some people say I look like a little bobcat with my black-tipped ears and my bright yellow eyes. I just say I look like a cat who knows what is important in life. What is that you may be asking? A full bowl of food, staying hydrated, the occasional treat and having a family of my own. I’ve got three outta four so I’m not doing too bad. This mini bobcat just has to continue her prowl until I find the home I’ve been dreaming of!”

Kitty, Male, 3 years old

“Hi there, I’m Kitty! It’s nice to meet you! I’ll always greet you at the front of my kennel and give you a friendly meow. I’d love to be your welcoming party at home too! OH, and I’m a super good friend to have too… While I may not like to snuggle, I love being by your side and maybe a few pets too. I don’t ask for much, just a comfy place to be myself and a companion to greet at the door.”

ADOPTED: Gemma, Female, 5 months old

“People tell me I have a really pretty coat! I want to say thank you but I get a little nervous. See, when I was born I wasn’t around humans a lot so I find it a little hard to know what to do near them. It’s not you, I promise! I’d love to find someone who would be willing to be patient while I get to know you. Maybe one day, with your help, I will get the confidence to say thank you! As the saying goes, the best gems are the ones who just need a little polish!”

ADOPTED: Dumpling, Female, 6 months old

“Wanna know a secret? I have no clue what I am named after. What is a dumpling anyway? The Facebook post about me says I am a treat though so that must be good, right? What I do know is playtime is the best time of the day! I’d PURRfer a home that is as full of fun and joy as I am. I’ve got my paws crossed to meet my ultimate play pal soon!”
