Johnny’s Road Trip to Bliss
Once a dog with a pep in his step, Johnny started to get down in the dumps.
Johnny has a neurological uniqueness setting him apart from his other canine companions – one that may have created a roadblock to his future. Because of YOU, Johnny had a place to get the care he needed until he could find a forever home.
But, the months and months of being in the shelter were bringing Johnny down. It was clear something needed to be done, and other avenues for Johnny to live a full life were explored. That’s when we found Pit Ridge.
Pit Ridge’s mission: To provide a safe haven for dogs in need of a moment more time to heal the emotional past through natural therapy, positive behavior modification, and an acceptance for who they are at a particular point in time.
The perfect place for Johnny to live his best life!
It took 2 days and 8 different car rides across 3 states to get Johnny to his new haven. A trip only made possible by the lifesaving collaboration of Many Paws coordinating the road trip, Pit Ridge accepting Jonny into their sanctuary and YOUR endless love for homeless animals in our community.
