HSNEGA’s 5 Weeks of Thank Yous: Donors

This week, Clyde (in photo) and his rescue friends wanted to take the time to thank YOU!

Thank you for giving rescues a second chance.

Thank you for giving them a voice.

Thank you for giving them food.

Thank you for giving them water.

Thank you for giving them the medical care they needed to survive.

Thank you for giving them the love they deserve.

Thank you for giving them shelter.

Thank you for being a part of our family of Life Savers.

Just one example of a life you saved is Clyde. 12-year-old Clyde was rescued from a county shelter. He was huddled in the back of his kennel, non-responsive and deeply afraid. His coat was terribly matted, and he was mostly blind and deaf. Without you, Clyde wouldn’t have had a happy ending.

Donations from people like you changed everything for Clyde. He had a haircut. A warm bath. Plenty of food to fill his tummy. And the TLC he needed to come out of his shell. Then a family saw Clyde, immediately fell in love, and adopted him! You made that possible.

I can only imagine what “Grandpa Clyde” (his family’s nickname for him!) would say if he could speak, but I know what team HSNEGA wants to say: We are forever grateful the rescues have someone like YOU in their corner. Because now a senior dog named Clyde has a second chance to live the rest of his life loved!

Clyde and his rescue friends might not be alive today without your generous donations. That’s one thousand, five hundred animals’ lives YOU have changed in the past year for the better because you decided to think of others and graciously give.

I mean wow, how PAWesome are you? Pretty PAWesome in our eyes and the eyes and the hearts of the rescues. The fact that SO MANY are in a warm bed (dog or human!) in their forever home tonight can attest to your big heart! YOU gave them that gift. YOU made a difference.

To be completely honest, we could not do what we do without YOU and your generosity. YOU are a LIFE SAVER. That’s a fact I hope you know and carry with you forever. Grandpa Clyde tips his hat to you!
