From Wags to Riches!

Today we want to share the story of the happiest puppy you ever did see!
What’s up dog? Say hello to Pippa!

This perky princess made her way to HSNEGA from another shelter and shed her positive light among all of our rescues!

In shelter life, one thing that can spread like wildfire among the rescues is stress. On the other hand, we have a few fearless leaders who take it upon themselves to pick up those around them and remind their furry friends they are being well taken care of and loved!

Pippa is one of our confident canines that spent a lot of time in playgroups with our other rescues, helping to remind them that life, even without a family, is worth praising. Pippa ran around with our most anxious guests and taught them how to swim in the pool, and even got them to play “doggie tag!” And finally, after helping our sweet rescues, Grace walked through our doors and decided to help her too…

“Pippa is now 7 months old, we’ve been together for about a month! She has certainly been a handful (puppy energy is no joke!!) but I love how sweet, spunky, and sassy she is. Her favorite things are meeting other dogs at the park, swimming (including in her water bowl), and chasing birds, lizards, and butterflies. She loves Greek yogurt, pup cups from coffee shops, and bacon-flavored treats. We’re still working on not stealing shoes, but she’s learning quickly and we’re already tightly bonded! Getting a puppy has been crazy and definitely tiring, but I wouldn’t change it!” ~Grace, HSNEGA Lifesaver and Pippa’s new PAWrent!

Pippa taught us all a very important lesson to carry on… Being PAWsitive doesn’t just make you better, it makes everyone around you better too!
