From day one of their rescue until their adoption our rescues a balanced, healthy diet thanks to the Food Bowl Fund. Donations of food are greatly appreciated but monetary gifts to the Food Bowl Fund ensure our rescues recieve a consistent diet of Purina One.
“A consistent, quality diet is incredibly important to animals in a shelter setting,” says Julie Edwards, HSNEGA’s Executive Director. “Many rescues come to us malnourished and underweight, and living in a kennel can stress healthy animals, causing them to lose weight. Our job is to make sure rescues have the nutrition they need to not only survive but thrive, and we can only do that with the help of our supporters.”
