Blueridge’s Pooch Pontoon Reunion with Jazzy
Every dog has his day and for Blueridge, that day was when he got to take a trip on the Pooch Pontoon!
Even better, the trip featured a special surprise- Jazzy! Jazzy and Blueridge were both adopted by Lori Van Scoten, a dear and devoted HSNEGA volunteer who passed away unexpectedly in July 2020. Jazzy has since found a FURtastic home with their sibling Lucy, Blueridge is in foster care at Desperate Dogs looking for a forever home. Jazzy and Lucy’s mom makes sure they get to see Blue Ridge often and was really excited the Pooch Pontoon gave them an opportunity to get together for some family fun. Lucy isn’t a fan of the boat so she stayed cuddled up at home.
Interested in adopting Blueridge? Email the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia at AnimalCare@HSNEGA.org or call 770-532-6617 for more information.
Thank you, Candace and the Pooch Pontoon for giving Blueridge and Jazzy this PAWesome day out on Lake Lanier. For more information on how you can schedule your pups on the Pooch Pontoon, visit bestfriendsonthelake.com. And, thank you Desperate Dogs for fostering Blue Ridge and working on bringing him out of his shell so he can continue to be the Playgroup Rockstar that he is.
