Veterinary Assistants (Full Time)

*THREE OPEN POSITIONS*

Responsible for assisting the Medical Director, Veterinarians and Veterinary Technician(s) with providing Wellness Clinic and Spay/Neuter services to clients of the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia and providing Animal Care duties (medicating/treatments or Isolation Ward duties) as scheduled. This position requires the candidate to handle, on average, 40-50 dogs/cats or more per day. Ideal candidates will be flexible with schedule changes and short notice overtime requests. Prior experience a plus but not required. On the job training will be provided.

Adoption Center Specialist (Part Time)

Adoption Center Specialists support the Adoption Center through providing outstanding customer service, counseling and education to the general public regarding the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia’s (HSNEGA) services and programs. The Adoption Center administrative support greets, directs visitors and provides clerical duties as assigned including data processing, answering phones, and scheduling appointments.

Animal Care Specialist

Animal Care Specialists are responsible for providing high-quality care to the animals housed at the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia (HSNEGA) and ensuring proper cleaning protocols for all kennel areas as well as the facility as a whole. Full or part-time position includes evening, weekend, and holiday scheduling.
