We are absolutely overwhelmed by the incredible response to our recent emergency foster call. When the clouds rolled in and the temperatures dropped, we asked for help, and you answered in a massive way.
A Community of Foster Heroes
Because of your selflessness, we were able to get the majority of our pets out of the shelter and into the comfort of warm homes before the worst of the weather hit. To every single person who opened their doors and shared their warmth: thank you. You didn’t just provide a roof; you provided peace of mind and a quiet place to nap during a scary time. Seeing our community rally together reminds us that we can face any storm when we work together.
Our Dedicated On-Site Team
We also want to send a huge shoutout to our dedicated staff members who stayed behind throughout the weekend. Braving the elements, they stayed on-site to ensure the pets remaining at the shelter received constant care, love, and attention. We are incredibly lucky to have a team that truly puts the animals first, no matter the forecast. Whether inside a foster home or here at the shelter, our animals were safe because of this collective effort.
